No one is a stranger to the dangers of drug abuse to people and society. However, no matter how much information is made available many people especially youths keep falling into the sticky web of drug abuse. 

Research shows that over 50% of all suicides, and violent crimes are caused by alcohol and drugs. 

So could it be that in between the problem of drug abuse lies another bigger issue that has been overlooked and under-reported? Some people believe that in the issue of drug abuse lies a spiritual conundrum. 

And this is actually the case. Keeping that in mind, let us dive into the spiritual part of drug abuse. 

The Spiritual Effect Of Drug Abuse On Youths 

So many youths have unknowingly succumbed to the supernatural slavery of cannabis and alcohol. They are controlled by their unending desire to remain in a state of excitement and delirium. Unknown to them, this state leaves them vulnerable and takes them to the underground level of evil spirits. 

Evil spirits are always desperately in need of three things; accommodation, nourishment, and employment. These three things they can only get in a human, specifically one who is a drug addict. 

In every human lies the temple of God. But this temple becomes contaminated when the body is filled with drugs, making the body the perfect place for evil spirits. 

When the body of a drug addict is taken over by evil spirits, they exercise complete control over the body. Then they use the body to commit multiple atrocities. The catch is, the drug addict does not feel used, they actually enjoy and find the despicable acts they commit pleasurable. 

Evil spirits use drugs and alcohol as a means to gain unfettered access to the body of people. 

Although, we have mainly focused on youths, evil spirits can gain access to any demographic of people as long as they abuse drugs and alcohol. 

The Power of Illicit Drugs 

Drugs act as a doorway. A doorway to the soul of a person. This is why when anyone takes drugs they are open to all sorts of demonic possession. 

Black magicians and some pastors are aware of the power of illicit drugs. This is why many of them consume these drugs. Not for pleasure but for the sake of allowing evil spirits and demons to enter their bodies. These evil spirits give them the power to perform magic and miracles. 
Demonic spirits are all around us, this is why we must be careful what we put in our bodies that grants them access to our souls. Drug abuse is a danger to both our spiritual and physical health, it must be avoided at all costs.
